Denise Leander-Watson has been a Management and Trade Consultant for over fifteen years. She has worked on several CARICOM related projects in the capacity of a research-based Consultant.

Ms. Leander-Watson has strong Human Resource Management background from her time spent as Personnel Manager at Jamaica Public Service Company and an Executive at the e-Biz Centre.  Specifically, with regard to this assignment, Mrs. Watson brings valuable experience gained in her role as an administrative and business process re-engineering consultant on a project to create Best Practice Models and deliver Technical Assistance to implement national CSME Work Plans which led to the development of the CARICOM Application Processing System (CAPS) - a fully integrated web-based information management system which facilitates the movement of skilled persons, temporary service providers and business persons across the twelve (12) participating Member States, by efficiently processing a significant number of documents. .

With the combination of her background in Mass Communications and training in business (MBA), Denise Leander-Watson plays an important role in research, report writing and editing. She is also a competent rapporteur.
