This study involved the analysis of the regulatory regimes, statistical data and market opportunities for specific services sectors in the EU under EPA in Botswana. It involved the evaluation of the capacity of key institutions (Bank of Botswana, The Central Statistics Office, Botswana Unified Revenue Services, The Department of Tourism, and the Department of International Trade) in terms of their ability to generate reliable services trade statistics.

CONSULTANCY TO PROVIDE STATISTICS ON TRADE IN SERVICES BETWEEN CANADA AND THE CARIFORUM STATES

This study involved a review of international trade in services, foreign direct investment, and the issuing of work permits to CARIFORUM countries by Canada from 2002-2008. It further involved liaising with the Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, and other sources in order to generate statistics on Trade in Services, movement of persons, and FDI.
